About Me
Hey! Welcome 👋
I’m Husain, currently based in Vancouver, BC, originally from India, and always curious about how things work (and how to make them work better).
What I do
I’m a fifth-year Electronics Engineering student at Simon Fraser University, with a strong interest in hands-on engineering and real-world problem solving. I enjoy building hardware, working with embedded systems, and turning ideas into things you can actually use.
I recently completed an 8-month Electrical Engineering co-op at ATCO Electric, where I worked on transmission line projects and gained first-hand experience in how large-scale power systems are designed, analyzed, and built. That experience really shaped how I think about engineering, practical, safety-focused, and grounded in real impact.
Outside engineering
When I’m not working on projects, you’ll probably find me hiking, travelling to new places, or meeting new people. I’m very much a people person, I enjoy hearing different stories, learning from others, and collaborating in team environments.
I’ve been actively involved in student clubs and societies throughout my time at SFU.
